Mint coconut Chutney/Pudina Chutney/Green chutney

Idli and dosa being the regular tiffin at home ,there is always a confusion on what chutney to prepare. I have a collection of few chutney recipes here for all of you who are as confused as I am.
Here is the recipe for mint coconut chutney.

Ingredients:
Green chilly-1
Red chilly-1
Ginger -1 inch piece
Garlic-1 or 2 pods
Pearl Onion- 2 
Tamarind- large pea size
Mint leaves-1 cup
Coconut-1/2 cup
Oil-1tsp
Tampering:
Oil-1tsp
Mustard-1 tsp
Urad-1tsp 
Method:
Heat oil in a pan and add the green and red chilly, ginger,garlic,tamarindq15q  and onion and saute well. 
Add the mint leaves and saute for few seconds.
Turn off stove and let it cool.
Grind it to a smooth paste by adding water and salt.
Transfer it to serving bowl.
Heat oil in a pan and tamper the mustard and urad and add it to the chutney.
It's ready!
Note:
You can use tomato instead of tamarind.
I used large onions as I did not have shallots.
