My 2 years old son is an ardent fan of this tangy paneer๐. Toddlers are usually picky eaters and pleasing them with the colour and taste of the dish is not that easy for us๐ฐ. I have a quick recipe here that you can try not only with paneer, but also using tofu, potatoes, cauliflower or even mixed veggies. It is a tasty side dish for rotis and rice. You can use this as a stuffing for sandwiches or rolls too. You can even spread it on dosa and make tangy paneer dosa ๐๐
Ingredients:
Paneer-200
Onion-1 ,medium size
Jeera-1 tsp
Oil or butter-2tsp
Tomato sauce-2 tbsp
Soy sauce-2 tsp
Chilly powder or flakes -1 tsp
Coriander leaves- a few for garnishing
Preparation:
Heat oil in a pan. Add the jeera seeds.
Add the finely chopped onions and saute until it turns light brown.
Add the paneer and saute few seconds.
Add salt chilly flakes or chilly powder, soy and tomato sauce.
Saute well until the paneer gets well coated and soft.
Add very little water not making it too watery.
Mix well and switch off the stove.
Serve hot with rotis or dosa.
