Strawberry milkshake

Strawberries are not jus awesome in taste but also have a high nutritive value. It has so many vitamins and minerals that contribute to the overall health. It is also a rich source of vitamin C. Strawberry in any form like milkshakes,smoothies,ice creams and even adding this fresh fruit to your oatmeal or cornflakes for breakfast is really a bliss.This is a basic recipe of strawberry milkshake I have not included ice cream but you can add a scoop of strawberry ice cream when you blend it for a more relishing taste. If you want a healthier version then use skimmed milk instead of full fat milk and honey instead of sugar.


Ingredients:

  • Strawberry- 1 cup
  • Milk-1/2 ltr (full fat)
  • sugar- as per taste

Preparation:

  1. Wash the strawberries and roughly chop them.
  2. put them in a juice and add milk and sugar to it.
  3. Blend it well for one minute and serve cold.

 Note:

  • You can add a scoop of strawberry ice cream while blending
  • Use partially frozen milk for a good taste.
