Ragi kozhukattai

Traditional recipes are always the best! Here is another addition to the kids snack options that is healthy and easy to make. My mom prepares ragi flour at home and I keep that in stock always. Ragi is a versatile ingredient that can be used to prepare a lot of dishes like dosa, idli,adai, puttu, kozhukattai, pakoda and so many other recipes. Ragi koozh is my son's favorite. Will post recipes of other dishes using ragi soon. 

Ingredients
Ragi flour-1 cup
Jaggery-1/2 cup
Grated Coconut-1/4 cup
Cashews- a few
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients in a wide bowl.
Sprinkle water just enough to wet the flour.
Mix well and make shapes of ur choice.
Place it in steamer and steam for 5 to 7 minutes.
Serve it hot.
