Coconut chutney (Method 2)

I have posted coconut chutney recipe before and this is another method of making the chutney. In this I have used peanuts,red chilly and curry leaves. It is a good combo for chappathi or dosa or idli.
Ingredients : 
Coconut - 1 cup (shredded)
Peanuts-1 tbsp
Roast gram-1 tbsp
Red chilly-3
Curry leaves-1 spring
Oil-3 tsp
Mustard seeds -1 tsp
Salt

Preparation :


  • Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan. Add rhe red chilly and curry leaves.
  • Add rhe peanuts and roast.
  • In a mixie jar take the coconut and roster gram.
  • Add the fried chilly,curry leaves and peanut also.
  • Grind smooth by adding little water and salt.
  • Transfer the content to a bowl.
  • Heat a tsp of oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and let it splutter. 
  • Add this to the chutney. Mix and serve.
