Ingredients :
- Yam (thinly sliced)-1 cup
- Salt-as needed
- Pepper powder-1 tsp
- Oil-for deep frying
Preparation :
- Remove the skin, cut the yam into huge pieces and wash it thoroughly.
- Using a chips slicer slice it into thin pieces.
- Sprinkle salt and mix well.
- Keep it in a colander for excess water to drain.
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the slices in small batches.
- Remove when it turns crisp and golden brown.
- Drain excess oil using a paper towel.
- Mix in pepper. Serve!
